Title: FEM Study of Heat Transfer in Braking System of IAR-99 Aircraft
Author(s): Ion Grigore   Victor Ghizdavu   Constantin Rotaru

Abstract: The paper presents some aspects of the thermal calculation of the braking system of IAR-99. Thermal regime is determined by the FEM method for the braking phase of the plane and forced cooling of the braking system in two cases: the brake system equipped with original rim and with modified rim.

Keywords: braking system, heat transfer, braking block, stator disk.
