Title: Gauging a 4×4 Automobile’s Transmission in order to Reveal the Loop Power-Flows

Abstract: This paper presents a gauging mode of an all-wheel driven powertrain of a vehicle, aiming at emphasizing the loop power-flow within the transmission. Besides, the main causes of the self-generated torque occurrence are revealed along with the specific methods to diminish / eliminate it. Moreover, the paper contains computing procedures (as components of the mathematical model) that are useful in processing the experimentally achieved data.
