Title: Hybrid Encryption System Based on Chaotic One-Dimensional Map

Abstract: In the latest years, the chaotic cryptography has been widely investigated. This paperwork reviews the progress in this field and points out some existent problems in digital chaotic cryptosystems, like the predictability of the generated values using the orbits of a single dynamical system and the small space of the keys. As a solution to these problems, a new cryptosystem based on a couple of random composed tent maps is presented, along with an exhaustive analysis of its performances, which proves its high level of security.
