Title: Characteristics of Iced Airfoils

Abstract: The paper is concerned with the understanding and describing of the iced airfoils aerodynamic characteristics degradation. The basic theoretical prediction of iced airfoils aerodynamic characteristics is resolved. There are presented results of a lift and pitching moment theoretical solution in comparison with clean and iced airfoils. Some iced airfoils models for wind tunnel testing are also prepared.
