Abstract: Vibration is a complex measurement process which depends on various parameters as acceleration, velocity, or displacement data. Depending on the ultimate measurement goals, there are different measurement technologies on the market, having advantages and disadvantages in terms of data sampling, transmission and storage. The current paper is concerned with the hardware design for a low cost data acquisition system, intended to measure, store and represent the real time displacement of an aerodynamic profile.
